As I was walking home from our second to last day of class, i got a feeling of calmness. All the hard work seemed to really pay off in the end. All the work we did might have been long and annoying but the final presentation was amazing!

Fort Myers beach

Yesterday My class I I went to Fort Myers beach and Matanzas Pass. When we got there, we were greeted so kindly by Jo Hughs and she talked about the history of Fort myers then we set out to walk an out door path that was along the Bay. It was so gorgeous! Im so lucky to be living in Florida!

After I got home from class today, i decided do some necessary reading for another class out by the water front. The sun was so hot and refreshing. There was a light breeze and it felt good. I am so fortunate to be able to have this opportunity not only to be in college but also to have this beautiful view to be able to read in!

As i was walking home from our field trip to lee county waste management I reflected on my experience. It’s amazing how smart and gifted people are to come up with ways to make our garbage into elctricity. Its cool and breezy outside and it makes me happy. I so grateful for what God has done for me and my planet!

What is the best way to live

I really like this question because I ask it to myself everyday. I get very stressed and anxious about stupid stuff and just need to learn to relax and enjoy life because we only live once. The key term is moderation. Its good to be carefree and spontaneious but its also important to be structured and grown up. If we take care of ourselves and our environment we are killing two birds with one stone and that is the best way to live!

Today we took a tour of our nature trail and learned all about the plant life and animal life that grows and lives in there. We also learned about all the eco-friendly stuff that our school does. From solar panals to building parking garages instead of parking lots and building up instead of out. On my way home from the trail, it got so cold and windy. I could smell the cold it seemed. I am so grateful and happy about all the stuff our school is doing to be eco friendly!

As the cold wind nipped at my face walking to my dorm from leaving the bus from Babcock Ranch, I had a sense of peace come over me. The trip mad me think about how long ago people had to live off of cows and survived on plants and other animals to survive. They had to enndure the cold with no shelter and it really made me appreciate what I have.

As Iwas walking back from class and the cool air was hitting my face, i felt so fresh and relaxed. Even though it was cold, my mind wandered even more and I thought more about nature and just life in general. The world is always going to have problems because nothing is ever perfect. We as humans can only help it and make it better. Life is just too short to worry all the time.

Reflection while walking to campus

Today was a beautiful day out. The sun was out and shining and there was a light breeze. As I was walking to campus I became more aware of my surroundings and how beautiful everything is. The bright colors of all the different plants, all the different ways people get to school. Im so fortunate to live in such a great world!

Reflection at waterfront

After class got over, I went outside to the waterfront. I sat on a big blue beach chair and studied the world around be. In the distance I could see someone water skiing. The sunset glistened with bright oranges, greens, reds and blues. The trees swayed with the light breeze. I felt such a sence of calm come over me. It makes me appreciate everything that I have and how fortunate I really am.
